Don't Let the Sun Set On Your Anger: Let It Go and Let It Be
As research in Positive Psychology has shown, forgiveness creates pathways toward human flourishing. An attitude of forgiveness is a healing stance before God, others and life. The decision to forgive allows us to step into our present rather than anchoring in our past and it frees us from roadblocks to well-being. Follow Fr. Flavio Gillio, m.s. through two engaging readings of biblical family dramas -Cain and Abel (Gen 4:1-16); Joseph and his brothers (Gen 50:15-21)- that encapsulate the dual processes and consequences of forgiveness and unforgiveness.
